DANCING FOR OUR HEROES 2026

GAMAC is proud to be a part of the 19th annual Dancing for Our Heroes competition presented by the Rotary Club of Greater Anderson! Modeled after the popular ABC TV show “Dancing with the Stars,” this fun community event features celebrity dancers competing to raise money for their favorite Anderson-area nonprofits. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at the Anderson Civic Center.

Anne & Mike Eldridge will light up the dance floor for GAMAC this year! In keeping with this year’s “British Invasion” theme, they will dance to Rod Stewart’s “Love Me or Leave Me.”

The dancers who raise the most money for their respective nonprofits win The Peoples Choice Award for the evening. We feel certain that Anne & Mike can walk away with that coveted trophy, but only if YOU give!

100% of funds given to GAMAC’s Dancing for Our Heroes campaign will benefit our Chorale, Anderson Symphony Orchestra, and the Electric City Big Band as well as our education outreach programs like Rhythm Reads, Sonic Lunch, and more!
