*Celebration of Youth Concert*

Again the youth groups of GAMAC, joined by the GAMAC Orchestra and a group of selected high school instrumentalists impress us with the sheer talent within our area. To top it off, the winner of the 2008 GAMAC Concerto Competition will make his or her debut with the orchestra. Tickets are $25.00 for adults and $12.00 for students and can be purchased by calling 864.231.6147 with a visa or mastercard or by coming by our office with cash or check orders.
The concert is at 8 p.m. in the Henderson Auditorium of the Rainey Fine Arts Center on the Anderson University campus.


Russian Redux

November 2, 2007
Pianist Marina Lomazov will make her much anticipated return to Anderson, joining the GAMAC Orchestra in a performance of Tchaikovsky’s incredible Piano Concerto No. 1. In addition to this incredible performance, the Chorale will perform Rachmaninoff’s sonorous choral symphony The Bells, inspired by the poem by Edgar Allen Poe.


Christmas Festival

Bring in the Christmas season with GAMAC’s 17th Annual Christmas Festival. You will be immersed in holiday cheer from the time you step through the door until the time you leave.

As the headline concert in the 2008 Anderson Celtic Cultural Festival, internationally renowned fiddler/composer will join the GAMAC Orchestra in a truly memorable evening of music. As a special added bonus to the evening, the GAMAC Orchestra will be a part of the group of world premier performances of Mr. O’Connor’s newly composed American Symphony of which GAMAC is one of ten orchestras commissioning the work.

Bernstein Pops

The GAMAC Chorale will celebrate the music of the most influential American musician of the 20th Century….Leonard Bernstein. Music from West Side Story, Candide, On the Town and the Chichester Psalms are but a few of the incredible musical creations you will hear this evening.
