In March 2008, The Anderson International Festival will present Slainte: A Celtic Celebration featuring the music, visual art, theatre and history of the 7 Celtic nations of Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Brittany, Galicia, Isle of Man and Cornwall. A Gaelic word meaning “good health” or “cheers,” Slainte (pron. Slawn-cha’) is an appropriate name for a public celebration of this fascinating culture.
As a part of the Anderson International Festival Committee, GAMAC will join the Anderson County Library, Anderson County Museum, Anderson University, Electric City
